Development Officer

Ms. McConnell has a long-standing commitment to reproductive health and rights.  While in law school, she founded Albany Law School Students for Choice and she currently volunteers with the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund in her spare time.  Prior to joining AAP, Ms. McConnell served as the Assistant Director of Major Gifts at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government (HKS).  In this role, she worked with senior administration and the Dean of the Kennedy School on the shaping of development strategies and on the cultivation and stewardship of top capital campaign donors.  Other experience includes donor management as the Associate Director of the HKS Women’s Leadership Board as well as work with the Family Planning Advocates of New York State and MergerWatch as a legal intern.  Ms. McConnell manages the fund raising efforts for AAP.
