The reviews were conducted by Joyce Cappiello RN, FNP, Asst. Clinical Professor at the University of New Hampshire.
The review is divided
into four sections: textbooks used by midwifery and women's health nurse
practitioner students, by family practice nurse practitioner students, by undergraduate
nursing students and by physician assistant students. This is not an exhaustive
review of all APRN and PA textbooks on the market but rather a convenience
sample of texts suggested by colleagues. If you want to suggest a textbook for
review, please email me at jc@abortinaccess.org. The most recent edition of any given textbook
was reviewed.
