Event: 'Medication Abortion Training Seminar For Primary Care Physicians In Alamosa, Colorado'

Objective:

Educate health care providers about non-surgical medication abortion via didactic lecture followed by discussion.



Educational goals:

* Discuss protocols for medication abortion via mifepristone and misoprostol

* List the eligibility requirements for and contraindications to medication abortion with mifepristone and misoprostol

* Discuss the management of side effects and complications of medication abortion

* Know the essential aspects of patient education throughout the medication abortion process
