AAP in Oregon: Organizer Grayson Dempsey takes on abortion education PDF Print E-mail
“There are such unique opportunities in Oregon right now,” noted Grayson Dempsey. “The momentum built over the past several years for nurse practitioners and other advanced practice clinicians is so strong.” Grayson will continue to connect AAP to local clinics and healthcare providers. Active as a counselor, activist, educator and trainer in the reproductive rights movement since 1999, Grayson brings her organizing skills to a number of AAP’s partner organizations, in addition to founding and leading Backline, a national organization promoting conversation around pregnancy, parenting, abortion and adoption. “Rejoining AAP is a great opportunity to make big steps in abortion training and education in Oregon, as well as offer a model for other states,” she explained. Welcome back to Grayson!
