The Washington State Association of Abortion Providers (WSAAP) gathers for its second meeting of the year, sponsored by AAP and organized by AAP field organizer Deb Van Derhei.  “It’s great to have the opportunity to come together as a community again,” noted Deb. Having been dormant for nearly a decade, the association met for the first time in the spring, an even that all noted was long overdue. The October meeting will feature Angela Hooton from the National Institute for Reproductive Health and offer a continuing forum for dialogue and networking among the state’s providers.  “Not only does WSAAP let providers and advocates connect, it is also intended as an opportunity to learn from colleagues.  With some many people in the group doing cutting edge work, there is a lot to talk about.”
